The self-attitude and personal boundaries of women suffering from alcoholism

The peculiarities of self-attitude and personal boundaries of women suffering from alcoholism have been studied. The study involved 60 women aged from 26 to 51: 30 women with alcohol addiction and 30 women without addiction. It is revealed that self-attitude of women suffering from alcoholism, is characterized by predominance answers of negative pole such scales of the questionnaire MIS such as self-confidence; reflected selfattitude; self-value. Women who suffer from alcoholism find a greater tendency to self-blame in comparison with the normal group. The psychological boundary of the personality of women suffering from alcoholism does not cope with its functions. Correlations between the components of selfevaluation and certain features of the psychological boundaries of the personality are revealed.
