Features of socio-economic development of Krasnodar region

The study of the features of socio-economic development becomes extremely important if a number of macroeconomic tasks are being solved, among which one can single out the development of a strategy for the development of the country’s constituent entities. The formation of indicators demonstrating the level of the socio-economic state of regional systems occurs under the influence of many factors, both internal and external environment. The standard of living of the population, the dynamics of employment and unemployment, the economic indicators of sectoral production are formed taking into account the peculiarities of the current state of the system of regions. Achievement of effective socio-economic development of the region is extremely difficult without research aimed at identifying the influence of regional features, the influence of which on the formation of the most important indicators is undeniable. The formation of priorities and strategic directions of the socio-economic development of the region depends on the uniqueness of the combination of demographic and natural conditions, technical and technological potential. Identification of priorities becomes a very urgent research problem, provided that the results of scientific research of a similar nature become the main ones in the development and decision-making process that contribute to strengthening positive trends and smoothing or eliminating negative factors in the development of the region’s economy and its competitive advantage. An important groundwork in the development and implementation of the strategy of socio-economic development is the conduct of research that will allow for effective government measures in the field of state regulation of the regional economy.
