Concrete resistance in statically indeterminate structures and its application in practical design problems

The paper considers the application of deformation diagrams with a descending section in calculations of statically indeterminate structures made of reinforced concrete. It presents the equations of creep theory and concrete destruction theory, which model such diagrams and their transformation. The calculation results are presented as solutions to the problems of concrete compression in the “concrete–conductor” system, central compression with different modes of a short reinforced concrete element, adhesion of reinforcement to concrete under central tension of the element between cracks.
