Peculiarities of the children health with HIV-infection in the public social institutions of Samara region

The problem of orphaned children who were born by women with HIV is still urgent. Orphans present a significant part of the children with HIV infection in comparison with the general population. We performed a retrospective analysis of medical records of children to assess physical development, psychosomatic status, the incidence of children with the further definition of tactics to optimize the management of patients according to their health status. Thus, children are characterized by: a high percentage of hyposomy, disharmony of body, various comorbidities, neuropsychological development lag. The authors presented the main directions of optimization tactics of patients.
