Business model creating peculiarities for a distribution company in today's offline and online distribution environment

The article considers the stages of the business model creation for an audiovisual distribution company. The paper highlights their features in modern offline and online distribution environment. It is emphasied that the diversity of types of business models under consideration is necessary in audiovisual distribution due to strong differences in goals, objectives and methods of operation of distribution companies. It is argued that choosing the right business model from the variety of business models will create conditions for the effective functioning and development of the audiovisual distribution company. It is recommended that distribution companies, which focus on offline content distribution, should focus on attracting target viewers to cinemas through effective advertising and infomercials as the most appropriate promotion channels, when media content needs are monetized depending on the quality of the media content itself.
