The paper presents methodology aspects which are the basis for development and design of “intelligent” shape- and dimension- stable structures of space vehicles, made from dielectric polymer materials. Problems of mathematical simulation of such systems are considered, along with approaches connected to experimental investigations of such materials and systems. Methodology of design of “intelligent” structures made from dielectric polymer materials is developed.
