Features of creating regional territorial clusters in the Arctic zone of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

The article discusses the essence of the cluster category and its impact on socio-economic development of the region. The practice of creating territorial clusters was analyzed, a theoretical justification for the feasibility of forming regional territorial clusters as mechanisms for regulating the economy and social sphere of the northern region was presented. For integrated development of the Arctic zone of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the formation of Arctic territorial clusters, forms of functioning of productive forces, the social and labor sphere, the improvement of industrial relations and system mechanisms for direct economic management were proposed. Arctic territorial clusters by types and production sectors are proposed to be divided into resource, market and creative. The methodology of the work is based on the theoretical provisions of domestic scientists on issues of the North and economic security.
