Features of development strategies and problems of international trading chains in the Russian market

The article discusses strategies for the internationalization and transformation of international retail chains. The definitions of the strategies "category killers" and "corporate parents" are given. The main factors in the development of large network retailers, as well as their use of various strategies in foreign markets, are considered. Particular attention is paid to the problems of international retail chains entering the Russian market, as well as institutional barriers.
