Features of self-reported of life of patients with affective disorders under different risk for suicidal behavior

The results of investigation of self-reported quality of life of patients with affective disorders and its dynamic in the course of psychopharmacological treatment have been presented. The investigated group included 44 women (61%) and 28 men (39%) whose mean age was 39,0±1,7 years. The investigation was carried out with use of Social Adjustment Scale, Beck Depression Inventory and Sheehan Anxiety Rating Scale. Antidepressant treatment and educative psychotherapy by day 28 show significant improvement of characteristics studied although mean indices did not reach borders of norm. Rehabilitation of the level of social functioning up to standard values was revealed in 47% of cases.
