Features of tactics of appointment, production and evaluation of the results of complex examinations in the investigation of traffic crimes

Introduction. The scientific article is devoted to the most important institution of criminal procedural activity — the Institute of complex forensic examination. Complex forensic examination is one of the types of forensic examinations in criminal and civil proceedings. Results. As a result of the study, separate signs of a comprehensive forensic examination have been developed. In modern reality, the appointment and production of complex forensic examinations is a complex, not fully studied and developed process, therefore it is necessary to comprehensively study it, identify existing problems and possible ways to solve them. The article deals with organizational and tactical issues of appointment and conduct of complex forensic examinations. The analysis of the practical activities of forensic units and investigative units in the production and evaluation of the results of complex forensic examinations in criminal cases related to road traffic crimes. Examples from investigative and expert practice in criminal cases related to road traffic crimes are described. Reasonable proposals were made to introduce certain amendments and additions to the current criminal procedure legislation. Conclusions. Special and close attention is paid to the possibilities of complex forensic examinations in criminal cases at the present stage, their advantage over the scattered conduct of a complex of separate types of forensic examinations is justified.
