Features of pregnancy management tactics against the background of portal hypertension

This article discusses the features of the course of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period in women with portal hypertension of various origins. Modern methods of treatment of bleeding from varicose veins of the esophagus and stomach during pregnancy and childbirth are considered. Currently, the number of women with portal hypertension planning a pregnancy is growing. According to the literature, the results of gestation and successful delivery are better observed in women with correction of varicose veins of the esophagus and stomach before pregnancy. To improve the quality of pregnancy management, a multidisciplinary approach to pregnancy management is important at the intersection of several specialties-obstetricians and gynecologists, surgeons, and hepatologists. Pre-gravidar training of this group of women is important for improving perinatal outcomes.
