In recent years, in epileptology, the study of the role of the frontal lobes of the brain has become more and more interesting, which, most likely, is associated not only with the high frequency of occurrence of frontal lobe forms (second place after temporo-lobe epilepsy), but also with a large polymorphism of seizures, versatility pathogenetic links in the structure of the pathological epileptic system, as well as the lack of the proper effect of therapy in almost a third of patients with frontal epilepsy (FE).
