The temperature regime of permafrost soils characterized by the coldest temperature regime at the southern limit of the cryolithozone of the European North-East of Russia was studied. Under conditions of the southern tundra, permafrost soils with a cold temperature regime are confined to peat and mineral soil-forming rocks. The seasonal and long-term dynamics of the temperature of their seasonally thawed and underlying permafrost layers are characterized. The permafrost soils are characterized by the main temperature characteristics.
