The study discusses the aspects of territorial mobility of the male indigenous peoples of the North of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the current situation. The research analyzes the impact of social and economic factors on the territories traditionally occupied by the indigenous minorities of the North and their economic activity that leads to their territorial mobility. The study highlights such characteristics of migration in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) as the intensive migration processes in areas where the mining industry is developed, the rapid rural-to-urban migration and the low migration potential of the population from the remote and hard-to-reach areas of the indigenous minorities of the North. The author notes that the industrial enterprises change the place, landscape and the quality of the areas of traditional resource use. Economic activity, the original habitat protection, ethnic and social, ethnic and cultural needs of these peoples are mainly provided in the context of nomadic tribal communities. Males are the predominant component of the clan as a nomadic work community. The author believes that the nomadic way of life of the peoples of the North is not an indicator of their territorial mobility. The additional, support resources represented by the relatives or compatriots who assisted male migrants in their housing and employment turned out to be the real capital of mobility of these men. Remote and hard-to-reach areas of traditional residence and traditional economic practices of the indigenous peoples of the North are the points that demonstrate their unequal status and access to mobility.
