Parallel imports transformation features in Russia under conditions of external challenges and economic sanctions

This article discusses the application of the scheme for the import of goods into the Russian Federation through parallel import channels in the context of economic restrictions and sanctions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the validity and prospects of legalization and use of the parallel import scheme in the Russian Federation in the context of economic sanctions. The objective of the study is to consider the possibilities of transforming the existing system of importing Russian imports in the context of global challenges and economic sanctions. The article analyzes the schemes of passive and active parallel imports. The directions and mechanisms of transformation of the parallel import scheme are considered, the possibilities and risks of its application in the Russian Federation in the conditions of economic restrictions and sanctions are assessed. It is concluded that in the conditions of economic restrictions in relation to Russia, parallel imports provide the national economy and business, first of all, with alternative channels for the supply of goods to saturate the domestic market.
