Printing is a branch of industry engaged in copying information in text and graphic form, by transferring it to a specific surface, using special technology. The products of this industry include newspapers, books, magazines, various booklets, brochures and much more. The article discusses the features of creating a defective products accounting system in an automated system of a printing company. First of all, the theoretical foundations of printing were studied: the main types of printing were determined, methods of protecting printed products were studied.
