Features of the ability to determine the grammatical category of words in sentences by students with dysorthography and their peers with normal speech development

The article presents results of an experimental research showing different level of development of ideas about a synthetic type of the grammatical meaning of a word, in which lexical and grammatical meanings are conveyed by a form of the same word, expressed by students with dysorthography and their peers with normal speech development. Unlike the high school students with normal speech development, the pupils with dysorthography are not able to establish inner relation between lexical and grammatical aspects of the words. Children of both groups have difficulties with determination of grammat- ical category of content parts of speech in sentences with formal predicative relation in comparison with such linguistic procedures involving just separate words.
