The scientific article is devoted to the features of small business personnel management in the context of the digitalization of the economy. The object of the study is the personnel management system in small and medium-sized businesses. An urgent problem for the small business economy is the state of health of staff during the working day, their ability to learn and improve their skills in the context of digitalization. Studies have revealed that personnel management in small enterprises has a number of features and problems that must be taken into account when building a successful personnel management system.In order to function effectively in the context of the digitalization of the economy, the sphere of personnel management in small and medium-sized businesses must be scientifically based and use advanced methods and technological innovations, as well as resonate with the main goals of the business process development strategy. SMEs should take into account many factors of the external and internal environment in connection with digitalization and analyze the economic and social satisfaction of staff in order to successfully manage personnel in today's digital environment.
