Specific features of virtualization of social institutions in the information society

Virtualization as a social process has become the basis for the transformation of social communities. New forms of social interactions in virtual communities differ from traditional forms by signs of interactivity, conventions, flexibility, impersonality and anonymity, the presence of characters. In this connection virtualization of social institutions by themselves is carried out. The purpose of this study is to analyze virtualization of social institutions in the information society. The paper describes in detail the process and the features of virtualization of social institutions, gives examples.
