The article examines the key features of the impact of the business-oriented approachon the practical training of students of film specialties, taking into account theimpact of digitalization. The main vectors of the interaction of students are studied:with an educational organization, the business represented by potential employers,the vector of self-development for the implementation of their own business projects.The current trends of the young generation's choice of organizations for internshipsare revealed. Conclusions are drawn about the importance of volunteerism, whichare confirmed by examples from the author's experience of successful employmentof graduates and indicators of commercialization of their business projects. Theemphasis is focused on the activation of the proactive management approachapplied through the practice of volunteering, festival promotion of films, thedevelopment of modern fundraising technologies, and the commercialization oftheir own business ideas.
