Features of blockchein technology implementation in the digital economy

The article presents the results of studying the issues of introduction and use of blockchain technologies. The purpose of the study is to study the advantages and disadvantages of the blockchain technology, the search and elimination of barriers to the introduction of technology. Research methods - analysis of literary sources, comparison of various practices of blockchain technologies and generalization of the results. The results of the research are proposals for solving the problems of blockchain technology introduction into modern information systems. Today blockchain technologies occupy one of the central places in the economy and business. There are different and contradictory expert opinions about the prospects of this technology. Despite successful attempts to introduce this technology, it is still experimental, since there are a number of related problems of implementation and further operation. The advantages of the blockchain explain the process of integrating technology into almost all spheres of human activity, as well as conceptuality. Currently, the blockchain is used far beyond cryptocurrencies and has the potential to create new foundations for existing economic and social systems. This technology will take some time to integrate into the existing economic and social infrastructure, despite its prospects. This will have to overcome many barriers - technological, managerial, organizational, and even social.
