Peculiarities of foliar application for the selenium accumulation by garlic plants

The authors have estimated the selenium content in garlic plants after foliar application by gibberellin, solutions of sodium selenate and bis (l,3)-dipyrasolyl selenide («Selecor»). It was shown that gibberellin application promotes to selenium accumulation in leaves, whereas sodium selenate application - in cloves and «Selecor» application - in air bulbs. Sodium selenate (hexavalent selenium) prevent from Pb accumulation in garlic bulbs, whereas «Selecor» shows synergism with Pb, gibberellin does not effects appreciably on content of this element in garlic plants.
