Features of eastern philosophy of education and educational policy

The article discusses the essence of Eastern education and educational policy. The main elements of Japanese and Chinese higher education with the focus on the trends of their modernization in the conditions of high competition of the world's educational systems are considered. The processes in the system of Eastern education, such as internationalization and globalization, with regard to conservation of Eastern traditions are analyzed.
