Functional disorders of various body systems are characteristic of children with the consequences of perinatal damage to the central nervous system (CNS) and are caused by immaturity or functional insufficiency of central regulatory mechanisms. Posthypoxic perinatal damage to the nervous system is manifested by functional disorders of the cardiovascular, digestive, muscular and other systems of the child's body. Functional disorders are a predisposing background to the aggravation of the course of any somatic diseases.
