Special aspects of detection and prevention of payment card fraud when maintaining public order in mass events venues

The article examines the issues of detection and prevention of payment card fraud when maintaining public order in events venues. In Russia the number of bank card holders constantly increases, and expectedly offenders pay increasingly close attention to this segment. This means that the criminal activity connected with cash machines is going to rise too, and given the world-wide expansion of cash machines network, it has already become a global issue. Problems that hinder detection and solving of such crimes should include not only lawbreakers’ thorough preparation and hiding of criminal actions, but also improper performance of duties by bank security officers, and sometimes their participation in a conspiracy.
