Specificity of representation of the concept "successful woman" in Russian glamorous magazines

The article deals with the analysis of linguistic representation of the concept "Successful Woman" in texts of glamorous magazines. The author develops basic theoretical tenets of conceptology and describes its present state. Reasons for further research of concepts, including the one of «Successful Woman» are given. Dictionary definitions of the lexemes «success» and «successful» are analysed. The concept is described in the aspect of different language levels. Semes (semantic components), forming the concept, are described. In accordance with the modern mass media understanding of Success central and peripheral zones of the concept "Success" are constructed. The concept «Successful Woman» is new for modern age, developing in the Russian language view of the world and presenting an idea of a modern woman.
