Specific features of heavy-tonnage vessels-icebreakers interaction ice conditions

This article shows that it necessary nearly constant icebreakers operation in creating of marine transportation systems directed at export of hydrocarbon row materials eastward. The main approaches for heavy-tonnage vessels escorting by icebreakers have been considered. The specific features of these approaches have been described.
