Features of political parties and terrorist organizations interaction in India at the present stage

The study reveals the main features of the interaction of political parties and terrorist organizations in India at the present stage. They include a wide range of actors participating in this process, the significant influence of broad public support, the willingness of both sides to negotiate and compromise, the presence of political and public wings of terrorist organizations, as well as the special attention of political parties to the fight against cross-border and international terrorism in comparison with domestic problems. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the approaches of the two dominant Indian parties to the solution of this issue, and the policy pursued by the current prime minister. It is concluded that there are unique features inherent in the process of interaction between political parties and terrorist groups in India.
