This article is devoted to the peculiarities and problems of the investigator's interaction with the bodies of inquiry and other officials in the investigation of crimes related to the destruction or damage of forest and other plantings by arson. The analysis of investigative and judicial practice made it possible to identify and build the stages of interaction and problematic issues during interaction. Based on the revealed patterns, the author offers tactical recommendations for effective interaction.
