When the information about upcoming or already executed terrorist acts and those involved in such actions comes in, a police officer carrying out an investigation, together with the field investigation officer must complete a series of urgent investigative and operational activities. Investigation of terrorist crimes is closely connected with operational and search activities. Concrete forms and methods of cooperation of the investigator and operational services can be both in the dimension of process, which makes it possible to fit them in criminal proceedings, as well as in the nonprocess dimension, which does not require preparatory work and allows to save time, when the evidential significance of the outcome doesn’t matter (the results of the inspection of operational accounting and information databases). The information support of antiterrorist and anti-extremist protection plays a crucial role. Thereupon, there is a relevance of the question of collaboration in the context of creation of the shared systematized database covering information about those who may be involved in the terrorist activity, not only housed in the FSB database, but also in the internal affairs bodies’ one, with the access to the data provided to the limited categories of the investigation team members.
