The features of relationship of cholinergic nervous terminals and their immediate cellular micro-surroundings in intact tissues of the uterine cervix and in tissues of squamous cell carcinoma

We have studied the features of gistotopography of cholinergic nervous terminals in the tissue of squamous cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix and the tissues that are not visibly affected by tumor growth. The complete comparative analysis reflects the major changes of the stromal component at the stages of malignant epithelial neoplasms. The features of the cellular micro-surroundings of cholinergic nervous terminals that correspond to the parallel change of histoarchitectonics of terminal nervous structures. Taking into account these features in the future may help to determine the additional prognostic morphologic criteria for diagnosis of tumors of the uterine cervix.
