Fractures of the proximal part of the tibia are quite common and are mainly accompanied by damage of the lateral condyle with partial or complete rupture of the corresponding meniscus. The authors have developed a fixator for osteosynthesis. The retainer is an individual anatomical pre-modeled plate. There has been conducted a study, in which patients with proximal fractures of the tibia took part. Positive results were achieved in 96.7% of cases, of which good results were observed in 73.3%, satisfactory results in 23.4%, unsatisfactory results were noted in 3.3% of the entire group of patients.
