Implementation of operational and search measures to identify organized groups of extremist orientation on the Internet

The article examines the actual problems of the implementation of operational-search activities in the information and telecommunications network of the Internet in order to identify organized criminal groups of an extremist orientation. In the plane of the Internet, operationally significant data is concentrated on the participants and activities of organized extremist groups. The author analyzed various aspects of the illegal acts of members of organized groups on the Internet, as well as modern organizational and methodological foundations and effective methods for the operational implementation of information and analytical search for information of operational interest in relation to persons involved in extremism, in the implementation of operational-search activities.
