The study deals with the Arctic Yakutia development by ancient tribes. The paper shows the ancient migration routes and elaborates on changes in material culture and economy of Yakut ancient tribes. The research describes the gradual development of economy and material culture of ancient people starting from the Paleolithic era. Ancient migration routes can be observed in the monuments located in the basins of rivers flowing into the Arctic seas. The most ancient migration signs are presented in Diring Yuriakh, the Lower Paleolithic monument in Central Yakutia. Similarities between American and Yakut archeological remains demonstrated that in the Upper Paleolithic era, the population migrated to America from Yakutia over the Bering land bridge following the mammoths. The authors note that waffle texture ceramics of the Late Neolithic period in the Yakut history can be found over a wide area from the Yamal Peninsula to Finland and Northern Norway.
