The article deals with the nature study experience as an efficient method of the development of the cognitive universal learning skills of the younger schoolchildren at the lessons of “Nature Study” and during the extracurricular activities of the younger schoolchildren. There are described the peculiarities of the teaching methods of the conduction of the short-time and long-time experiences of Natural Science.
