From course training to a highly qualified specialist

The article is devoted to the history of library education in Russia during the transition period: from course training at the State Library of the USSR named after V.I. Lenin to higher education at the Moscow Library Institute. A chronicle of the main events is given on the basis of archival materials of the RSL.
