From flophouse to university. History of the principle building of university campus in Perm (on the 160th anniversary of N. V. Meshkov)

The author regards the history of the construction and the first stage of exploitation of the Flophouse, one building of which played a significant role in establishing the University in Perm and had been the Principle building of PSU for a long time. The role of N. V. Meshkov in the development of University education in Perm is analysed.
