From plant to customer: what effective channels of polyethylene sales should Irkutsk Oil Company choose?

This article is devoted to finding the best sales channel from an economic point of view for the Irkutsk Polymer Plant to ensure the guaranteed sale of its products and profit. The article presents the main characteristics of the future plant and its planned range of products, the capacity of existing polyethylene plants in Russia, the balance of polyethylene consumption in Russia for the period 2016-2024, the comparative distances from the cities of Ust-Kut and Tobolsk to the cities of warehouse storage of finished products. An export option for organizing a polyethylene sales channel of the Irkutsk Polymer Plant was proposed, all options for supply routes and states to which it is advisable to organize supplies were considered in detail.
