Selection of articles on crop protection for CSAL information resources

There has been considered the FSBSI CSAL experience of selecting the most scientifically essential and timely articles from domestic and foreign publications on plant protection to include them in the information products of the Library, including into the “AGROS” database. There are presented the criteria for selection of articles according to formal traits of general nature that apply to all of the publications irrespective of the branch trait. The principles of selecting articles regarding separate issues of crop protection have been considered in detail.
