Some aspects of the history of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian empire of the border of the 19th - 20th centuries

Dedicated to the history of the state and the rights of Russia at the turn of the 19th - 20th centuries. The complexity and inconsistency of the specified period is noted. Attention is drawn to the fact that, on the one hand, it was a time of great reforms, the rapid development of the country, on the other hand, it was during this period that the society was confronted with an increase in terror and the persecution of state officials by revolutionaries. It is emphasized that employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were especially often targeted by revolutionaries. It is concluded that today, to prevent such conflicts, it is necessary to develop the legal culture of society, an important component of which is the study of the history of the state and law.
