Some aspects of modern methods of teaching criminal law at university

The modernization of the national legal education implies the need for new, effective methods in the teaching of law, including the Russian criminal law. The federal state educational standard of higher education 030900 Law (qualification (degree) “bachelor”) brings unequivocal demands for the introduction of interactive teaching methods to law students. At the same time, the use of interactive methods requires not only careful preparation by a teacher and students, but also imposes some restrictions, depending on topics and interactive methods. The author offers new approaches to the teaching of criminal law at university and reveals the particular method of the game during classes on “Criminal Statute”.
