The article continues the cycle of publications devoted to Orthodox biblical studies in the USSR, and is based on the study of works published from 1964 to 1982 in “Zhurnal Moskovskoy Patriarkhii” (Journal of the Moscow Patriarchate) and in the collection “Bogoslovskiye Trudy” (Teological works). Te most part of publications is first introduced into scientific circulation. Among them there are materials concerning textology, isagogics and exegesis as well as papers about outstanding biblical scholars. It shows the authors' interest in questions of translation of the Holy Scriptures into Slavonic and modern languages. Separately, they describe the activities of the Biblical Group under the Leningrad Teological Academy. Tis group was led by K. I. Logachev, the author of almost all publications about the work of the group. Some conclusions are drawn about a higher scientific level of the articles (primarily on isagogics), as well as a certain reduction in their number, in comparison with the previous period. Special atention is paid to the important educational significance of the articles devoted to outstanding biblical scholars such as St. metropolitan Filaret (Drozdov), M. D. Muretov, I. E. Evseev
