Russian history: new methods of sources study

The article discusses historical-oriented information systems as a means of supporting research in national history. The possibilities of using these resources in the study of the history of Zemstvo self-government and parliamentarism in pre-revolutionary Russia, the Perm provincial periodicals are analyzed. It is shown that the historical-oriented information systems provide maximum completeness of conservation, optimal organization and the necessary visualization of historical and historiographical information, create ample opportunities for the use of new tools, techniques, research methods.
