Domestic historiography of the occupation regime, functioning at the RSFSR territory seized by the nazis

The paper systematizes the researches concerned with the Nazi occupation regime that was established during the Great Patriotic War at the occupied territory of the RSFSR. The author distinguishes the stages of national historiography development, the main research problems, debatable and insufficiently explored aspects (collaboration, guerrilla movement, mass deportation of Soviet citizens to Germany), which provides more holistic understanding of the research results covering this theme in the works of local historians, focusing on the study of unexplored facts.
