The article considers the essence of the economic categories «personnel assessment», «labor motivation», their relationship, as well as personnel assessment methods. The goal is to study domestic and foreign experience in the application of personnel assessment methods in the system for evaluating the performance of the organization’s personnel, to consider the possibility of using these methods in the practical activities of organizations in order to increase the efficiency of the organization’s personnel.
