Open innovations in the development of the business environment of the region

The article is of a research nature and is devoted to generalizing the role of the development of the open innovation model for the subjects of the regional economy and the business environment of the region as a whole. The article reveals the international practices of the open innovation model. The article summarizes the parameters and indicators for a comparative assessment of the formats of open innovation systems. Based on the study of approaches and models of open innovations of various systems (technical, industrial, socio-economic systems), the provisions characterizing their content are formulated. The purpose of the study is to study the impact of the role of open innovations in the development of competitive advantages of economic entities and the business environment of the region. The article postulates the desire of regional businesses to network interaction and obtain resources of a new nature of emergence and development, as well as the development and strengthening of competitive advantages of a new nature, manifested in modern conditions of information and digital society. The article describes the competitive advantages of regional economic entities in the context of digitalization. The conclusion is made about the role of open innovations in the development of interactions of the business environment of the region and the formation on this basis of its competitive advantages in ability, susceptibility to external innovative impulses and flows.
