Open areas in the structure of urbanized territories (by the example of Birobidzhan)

Taking into account perspective tendencies of the urbanized territories development, the author has defined open areas as a potential resource for optimization of the urban environment. Open areas and green zones in towns of the southern Far East are calculated. In Birobidzhan it is made the ecological-functional zoning of the open areas.
