Leasing as a way of establishing custom houses in Russia of 15th - 18th century

The article is a historical essay on custom houses leased by individuals from the State for a certain time, which was in practice in the Russia of old. Such a way of establishing custom houses practised in the period of the formation of the Moscow centralised State, was of great importance in the development of the financial control of the 15th - 18th centuries.
