The attitude of the youth to the problem of unemployment in the context of age and gender characteristics

The article examines the problems of the economic orientation of the youth value consciousness from the perspective of a comparative analysis of age, gender and educational characteristics of young students and pupils, whose features have not been studied thoroughly enough. The study was realized on the basis of the results of the sociological research, conducted among students and pupils of the educational institutions of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region within the project «Youth value orientations dynamics: the regional aspect». The correlation of the political and economic factors of youth value consciousness, the dependence of the dynamics of these factors from age, gender and educational characteristics of young people were detected in clear quantitative and qualitative indicators.
