The paper examines the trade, economic and cultural ties of the Kyrgyz with other peoples in the 18th century. To understand the nature of these relations, the level of development of the spiritual and material culture of the Kyrgyz is characterized. Particular attention is paid to the nomadic lifestyle, the development of nomadic cattle-breeding and their impact on relations with neighboring countries and peoples of the Fergana Valley, including the Khanate of Kokand. The author also analyzes the Kyrgyz ties with China and Russia, explains the reasons for their interest in developing relations with the Kyrgyz. It is concluded that the Kyrgyz culture has undergone certain changes under the influence of the cultures of neighboring peoples. However, it did not mix with them, maintaining its identity.
